GST Official Suicide Fallout

GST Officer Service Association President Jyoti Swaroop Shukla and General Secretary Arun Singh and Uttar Pradesh Commercial Tax Officer Association held a meeting and discussed the problems. The organizations decided that no member will be a part of the State Tax Group. Everyone will work by tying a black ribbon.

Many things have come to light after the death of Deputy Commissioner Sanjay. Meanwhile, some media channels spoke to Sanjay's family. The family gave many important information about Sanjay. It was also made clear that he was fed up with the harassment of the department.

'Sanjay was due to retire in an year'

Sanjay's elder brother Dhananjay Singh said- Sanjay was retiring after a year. Sanjay was definitely suffering from depression for a year. But he was depressed because of the extra workload being given to him at a higher level in the department. We believe that the level of harassment in the department has been increased so much that no one is able to work in this department with independent discretion. There is so much interference in the work every day that the employees here cannot work independently. Not only Sanjay, other employees of the department are also facing harassment.

'He defeated Cancer and was doing fine'

He said- The talk of depression due to cancer is absolutely wrong. We have his medical report, which is of 14 November 2024. He had come out of this disease. It is also clear in the report that he was cured. Then how can Sanjay go into depression due to cancer? By saying such things, it is just an attempt to save those officers of the department, with whom Sanjay was upset. My brother was not such a person who would give up his life for such a small thing. He was of a very calm nature. He was harassed in the department to such an extent that he gave up his life. We want this case to be investigated at a high level. Only then the truth will come out in front of everyone.
